Terms of Use
Terms for using Reflect.
Effective date: August 24, 2026 · Version 1.0
1. Acceptance and eligibility
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and Ignite-Soft, the operator of Reflect, developed by DucHV(“we,” “us,” or “our”), and govern your use of Reflect: Emotional Tracker, this website, and related services. By downloading, accessing, or using Reflect, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Reflect. If the law where you live requires a higher age to consent to online services, you may use Reflect only with valid parent or guardian permission. You may not use Reflect where its use would violate applicable law.
2. The Reflect service
Reflect helps you record moods and notes, review journal and calendar history, receive reminders you enable, and view summaries and personal insights. Some features require a linked account, internet connection, supported device, or Premium subscription.
Reflect is a self-reflection and general wellness tool. It is not a medical device, healthcare provider, crisis service, diagnostic tool, or substitute for professional advice or treatment. Reflect does not guarantee any health, therapeutic, or personal outcome. If you may be in danger or have a medical or mental-health emergency, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional immediately.
3. Accounts and account security
Reflect may start with an anonymous Firebase session and allows you to link an account using Google or Apple. You are responsible for protecting your device and linked provider account and for activity that occurs through your account. Provide accurate information and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
You may delete your account from Settings in the App or submit a web deletion request. Deleting an account is permanent for data controlled by Reflect and may make journal history and Premium access unavailable. Account deletion does not automatically cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of mood notes, feedback, and other content you submit (“User Content”). You give us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, and process User Content only as necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the features you request. This license ends when the content is deleted from systems we control, subject to reasonable provider backup, security, and legal retention.
You are responsible for your User Content and must have the rights needed to submit it. Do not submit content that violates law, infringes another person's rights, contains malicious code, or exposes another person's sensitive information without permission.
5. Reflect Premium and subscriptions
Reflect may offer weekly, monthly, annual, trial, or other Premium plans through Apple App Store or Google Play. The purchase screen shows the available product, localized price, billing period, trial or introductory offer when eligible, and renewal disclosure before you confirm. Available plans may vary by platform, country, account, and store eligibility.
- Payment is charged by Apple or Google to your store account when you confirm the purchase.
- An auto-renewing subscription renews unless you cancel through your store account before the store's renewal deadline.
- You can manage or cancel in Apple or Google subscription settings. Deleting Reflect or your Reflect account does not cancel billing.
- Trial conversion, refunds, billing disputes, price changes, and taxes are governed by the applicable store's terms and notices.
- Restore Purchases asks the store and RevenueCat to restore eligible entitlements associated with your accounts.
Premium features may evolve, but we will not knowingly misrepresent a plan at the time of purchase. On Apple platforms, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Google Play purchases are subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Reflect for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes;
- access or attempt to access another person's account or data;
- probe, disrupt, overload, or bypass security of the service;
- reverse engineer the App except where law expressly permits;
- copy, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service;
- upload malware or content that infringes another person's rights;
- use automated systems to scrape or interfere with the service.
7. Intellectual property
Reflect, including its software, design, logos, mascot, illustrations, text, and other materials excluding User Content, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Reflect for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.
8. Third-party services
Reflect depends on platforms and providers including Apple, Google, Firebase, RevenueCat, and Vercel. Their services and separate terms may apply. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control, but our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep Reflect available, but the service may be interrupted, delayed, or changed for maintenance, security, provider outages, legal requirements, or product updates. We may add, modify, or discontinue features. Where required, we will provide reasonable notice of a material change that adversely affects an active paid service.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reflect is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not guarantee that entries will never be lost, so keep any separate copy you consider essential.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our licensors and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities arising from Reflect. Our total liability for claims relating to Reflect will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for Reflect during the twelve months before the claim or USD 50.
This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited, including certain liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or personal injury.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Reflect at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, create security or legal risk, or misuse the service. Where reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue. Provisions that by nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and dispute provisions—will survive.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the revised version here and change the effective date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice where required. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms; if you disagree, stop using Reflect and cancel any subscription through your store account.
14. General terms
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement about Reflect unless additional terms are presented for a specific feature. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the rest will remain effective. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a reorganization, merger, acquisition, or sale of the service.
Applicable law and any mandatory consumer forum rules govern disputes. These Terms do not override rights or remedies that cannot be waived under the law where you live.
